BRIG meets monthly...

BRIG is the Baton Rouge Intergroup of Overeaters Anonymous.  BRIG's monthly meetings bring together representatives from each of the area's weekly OA meetings, along with elected board members, to carry out the business side of OA in the Baton Rouge area.

BRIG meets at 11:45 am on the second Saturday of each month at Jefferson United Methodist Church (10328 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge).

OA's 7th Tradition is that : We are self supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations.

OA is free to all.

Members give as they feel fit.  Usually, a buck or two at a meeting in the "basket" keeps us going, so we are not about money.

To help support OA's vital services, the 60/30/10 contribution plan meets our basic needs.

After regular group expenses are met (rent, supplies, literature, etc.) remaing amounts are distributed 60% to Intergroup (BRIG - Baton Rouge Intergroup) 30% to World Service (WSO) and 10% to Region (Region 8).  Contribution information for BRIG, WSO and Region 8 are listed below:
